Hendrick’s Midsummer Solstice, the intensely floral and refreshingly crisp version of the traditional Scottish gin inspired by the unique qualities of summer flower bouquets with roses, cucumbers, fruits and precious spices following the aromas of the summer solstice created by master distiller Lesley Gracie will be presented in Rome for two days. The event will be taking place on 22 and 23 November 2019 starting 18:30 to 02:00 at the Contemporary Cluster inside Palazzo Cavallerini Lazzaroni in via dei Barbieri, 7.For the occasion, Hendrick’s chose the seventeenth-century Palazzo Cavallerini Lazzaroni, home of the Contemporary Cluster Art Gallery and transform it into its theme, Hendrick’s Unusual Hotel. For two straight evenings, the Roman public will be entertained with theatrical performances, alchemist experiments, music and mixology in all the three floors of the building that will be completely transformed into a bizzare and extravagant atmosphere amidst Baroque stuccoes and liberty frescoes. With the unique setting, it will populated by unpredictable characters which will be interpreted by the talent of a young company of actors who will wander among the guests to lead them to discover the Hendrick’s Unusual Hotel.

On the ground floor there is an authentic lobby, complete with a reception desk and the Apothecary Bar, which dispenses a drink list consisting of four cocktails based on the unmistakable Hendrick’s Gin Original. Passing to the second floor you will find the sophisticated counter dedicated to gin & tonic. And continuing to climb up to the third level, you will reach the Hendrick’s Curiosity Floor, where you can enjoy the exclusive drink list of cocktails, packaged like magic elixirs in small glass bottles and signed by Patrick Pistolesi (owner and bar manager of Drink Kong, the 82nd best bar in the world according to the prestigious world ranking of the 50 World’s Best Bar).
