On the 24th of January 2019, an illuminated dramatic red carpet reception coupled with magnificent works of light and sounds on the building’s facade welcomed the guests at the entrance of Palazzo Montemartini in Rome. Themed “Welcome to the Exceptional”, such a spectacle paralleled the monumental event as Palazzo Montemartini joins the Radisson Collection Hotel, the first in Italy and the tenth in the world to be a part of the luxury places worldwide.

Welcome to the Exceptional was hosted by Hotel Manager of Palazzo Montemartini Marco Luzietti together with Giuseppe Marchese, CEO of Ragosta Hotels Collection, and Chema Bastecherrea, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Radisson Hospitality AB.
The celebration of food created by Executive Chef Simone Strano and his numerous kitchen staff, wine and music was spread out on three floors of the hotel.
At the Senses Restaurant and Lounge Bar, the dramatic background of the central fountain illuminated with candles complemented the spectacular musical performances of harpist Micol, rock violinist Leida and deejay Yaya. As the music continues, the main hub of the night’s gastronomic offerings were flowing at Senses with pasta dishes and a vast variety of tasting dishes. The Caschera Spa at the lower ground held the seafood hors d’oeuvres with the eclectic sounds of Alessio De Simone and Giorgio Rima as well as exhibitions of body paintings. On the main floor, the desserts were scattered in different rooms as Vera Dragone and the Velvettoni Swing Orchestra played music.
True to its theme, the night was a spectacular labyrinth of food, music and art!
