Between 14 to 17 October 2019, Rome opened its doors to the celebration of the third edition of La Vendemmia of Roma. It was one of the most exclusive events that strengthened the ties of luxury Italian and international fashion brands and wineries. Different brands in the luxury fashion district in the historical center of Rome hosted events and formats dedicated to high-end fashion, gastronomy and hospitality, guaranteeing guests the prestige dedicated to them.
Wine tastings served with appetizers in the stores with music and performances made shopping an unforgettable experience!
For this year’s celebration, Malo and Tenuta di Artimino, both hailing from Tuscany, combined forces in giving their clients a beautiful journey into high fashion and fine wines. Malo, founded in 1972 in Florence, is a leading Italian brand of high quality cashmere knitwear that puts rigorous attention to quality and tradition in every detail of their products.
Tenuta di Artimino is a wine estate in Carmignano in Tuscany that produces fine Carmignano DOCG and Barco Reale di Carmignao DOC wines. It is among the four wine producing zones of Tuscany that was included in the Edict of Cosimo III de’ Medici, Grand Duke of Tuscany, in 1716, which delimited the area for its production of quality wines.
Served during the night were Vin Ruspo Barco Reale di Carmignano DOC, a rosè blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Sangiovese with a pleasant acidity in the mouth combined with its fruity and floral aromas. Poggilarca Carmignano 2016 DOCG, a full-bodied blend of the same grapes, half of which matured in large Slavonian oak and the other half in barriques for 10 month, was an excellent harmonious wine that depicts complexities of aromas of sweet spices, red berries, dark stone fruits, and vanilla.
