Bakery House is a chain of bakeries owned by Italian couple Stefano Rocchi and Viviana Lorenzini. Just six years from the year it was established in 2012, Stefano and Viviana now has a Bakery House in Turin and three others in Rome, the latest of which is located in EUR.
It was born out of passion for American food, a fascination that has grown over time from frequent trips to the US.
Viviana and Stefano wanted to bring to life the warm and cozy American bakeries to Italy where the customers can immerse themselves in the environment of homestyle comfort. At the Bakery House, you can savor the tasty cakes next to a cup of coffee or tea, or perhaps some bagels or burgers.
Just a few days from the opening of their fourth Bakery House that also happens to be the third in the capital, the EUR branch has been quite busy with the flow of American bakery enthusiasts most especially the younger generation and families. There are more than 50 seats to accommodate the customers both indoors and outdoors. It’s a place to feel at home, in the embracing ambience of the Bakery House.
The string of success of the Bakery House is due to the tenacity and passion of Viviana and Stefano. The kitchen at the Bakery House remains focused on the original concept of a genuine bakery which stands by the quality of the products. Quality, genuineness and freshness are the fundamental elements in making the homemade products of the Bakery House.
The menu proposals of the Bakery House are from breakfast to dinner starting from the pancakes, waffles, bagels, quinoa bowls, and toasts to sandwiches, burgers, and salads. Drinks, of course matter, so there’s a multitude of options from tea, smoothies, centrifuges, beer and wine by the glass. In the middle of the day, the delectable cakes and muffins are great in-between snacks to bridge the gap of meals.
Brunch is served at the Bakery House on weekends from 9:30 to 16:00!
On Saturdays and Sundays, the most awaited moment of the week arrives at the Bakery House because brunch is served. A combination of breakfast and lunch that started in England in the 19th century and popularized in the US in the early 20th century, the idea of weekend brunches has also captured the attention of the Italians. Brunches are great on lazy weekends when you can start the morning a little bit late and stay on the table longer than usual. For that reason, myriad plates, sweet and salty proposals from the menu as well as special plates are served only during the weekend brunches. So keep a big appetite ready for plates of scrambled eggs, bacon, ham, cheese omelet, french toasts, bagels, pancakes, sandwiches, waffles and more for brunch at the Bakery House!
